Join us for an in-person lecture with Bernie Cho, founder and president of the artist and label services agency DSFB Kollective. Bernie has worked with well-known artists like Jay Park, Epik High, Drunken Tiger and Crying Nut.  


DSFB Kollective is a boutique creative agency for Seoul-based indie artists, designers, directors, djs, musicians, singers and producers. As a pioneer in the Korean music industry, he provides top indie bands with digital media, marketing, and distribution solutions. With over 21 years of experience in the Asian music, TV, radio and pop culture industries, Bernie has launched over 600 Korean music artists on digital service providers and has also promoted the first Korean music showcases at top international music festivals such as SXSW. In this lecture he will share his extensive insider knowledge on the international rise of K-pop music.

This is a *free* event hosted by the Institute for Modern Korean Studies. Anyone is welcome to join the event regardless of institutional affiliation.
